I love to cook and bake. But, even before I knew I had an inkling for those skills, I loved aprons! I’m not sure exactly what the attraction is to aprons, but I know I am not alone. Just google the word “apron,” and a whole world opens up before your eyes. One full of bright colors, ribbons and bows, gingham, fun, and sometimes, a bit naughty.

Aprons have become so popular in fact, that you can now purchase some fancy aprons for $200+!  I’m not sure I will be spending that kind of money on this love of mine, but I must say, I never get sick of looking at them. Now, do I wear them, not so much. BUT, tell me…Who can have a functioning kitchen, without their aprons…hanging beautifully on the wall for display or wrapped around you as you cook and bake away!

  1. My mom and I absolutely ADORE aprons! I was so excited to see this post! Since I was itty bitty she’s always had fun, pretty aprons in the house. We’re always hunting for cute patterns, unique store-bought and used vintage ones that we can copy the pattern from. I’m glad to see that they’ve made a comeback over the last couple of years!

  2. i too love aprons. I’ve perused your site and love your sense of style. I particularly like your choice of apron.

i am a man, but at home am a maid for my wife and a good apron is worth its weight in gold.

    keep up the lovely site.
